Peter has covered many different sports in his career football basketball, cricket, kabaddi, athletics motorsport, and equestrian.

Football has to be my most photographed sport with many games at Derby County's Baseball Ground, and Nottingham Forest. Plus visits to Stoke, Port Vale, Crewe, and Boston.

His first ever game was Derby County v Ipswich Town in 1984 with my first picture in the nationals in 1985 when Forest played Coventry, (Shot with a standard lens.Well in those days we were aloud to sit a few yards beyond the touch line.)

His alltime football shot was of Brian Clough. Brian (God rest his soul) liked to control everything around him, and always liked to voice his opinion. During matches he would be always jumping in and out of the dugout, and on one occasion one of his colleges got a picture of him running on to the pitch to drag someone dressed as a clown off the pitch. On the day in question Peter was at the Trent End of the ground, and during the game one of the Arsenal players (Scotish, Striker) was carried off on a strecher. Peter ran round to get a picture of the player being taken off which he did. Before the game to take a picture or two of Brian jumping in and out of the dug out so for the ast 10min's he did just that. He had a Nikon camera with a 300mm f4.5 lens and no mono pod. He sat near the touchline with two other photographers with 300mm f2.8 lenses and mono pods. He shot on 1/125th sec at f4.5. After the game Brian got out of the dug out and went straight towards us to go to the tunnel. Just before going down the tunnel he jestured with two fingers to the forest fans in the Trent End. The three of us all shot away, but after he went down the tunnel we were unsure whether we had any thing, because of a St.John's Ambulance Man. But we did.
